Wooden plinth

Today, wood products are the most popular, they are represented in a wide price range and are well suited for various design solutions. Plinths made of wood include veneered and solid elements. In the production of the first option, coniferous wood is used as a base, which is covered with a thin layer of veneer, the second option is a part of natural wood. The presented products are characterized by long-term operation, attractive appearance and the ability to restore the original state. Wooden plinths can have different sizes and are environmentally friendly.



For adherents of natural materials, a baseboard MDF will be a good option. In the manufacture of elements using wood fibers, which are combined into one composition using a press and high temperatures. The visible surface is covered with laminate or veneer.



The advantages of fiber products:

  • resistance to moisture and direct sunlight;
  • easy to clean and wash;
  • inexpensive;
  • The material is presented in a wide range of colors.

The product has a smooth surface, copes well with the task of hiding the wiring. The presented solution is used both on smooth and curved walls, they are complemented by coatings of laminate, carpet or linoleum. In addition, cost-effective material does not deteriorate under the influence of chemicals and does not require special knowledge to install. A large selection of shades of flexible plinth does not limit the wishes of consumers. Wenge, sandy or dark brown - the design of the room will gain coherence with suitable details.

Due to the good resistance to high temperatures and moisture, the presented solution can often be observed in bathrooms. Plinth polyurethane floor is made in white with the ability to repaint in a suitable shade. Today they make variants with increased strength, which are widely used for children's rooms and offices. The flexible plinth gently adjusts to uneven walls, does not stand out from the overall composition.

Modern designers create amazing skirting with lighting, adding practical and aesthetic functions to the room. Often, polyurethane products are taken as a basis, they are equipped with LED lamps and they transform a simple composition into a designer masterpiece.

The tidy element protects the walls from splashes during wet cleaning, does not allow to collect dust and dirt, hides the wires and protects them from damage.

Installation of a plinth is carried out in several ways:
